I am invited for an interview with Al Jazeera on the rising popularity of Bitcoin in UK shops.
London has the largest bitcoin meetup in the world thanks to the hard work of Iain Cresswell and Paul Gordon who have been responsible for bringing a small self select group and turning it in to a mass movement over the past year or so. Small independent merchants like the Old Shoreditch Station, where this interview is shot, are exactly the kinds of businesses cryptocurrencies are made for. Low cost, easy to implement and good for helping raise awareness for both the currency and the entrepreneur.
My thanks to Rawan Hijazi for giving me the opportunity to take part in this short introduction, I hope to do more.
